The original outpost of Angels & Kings is an NYC East Village bar founded by two friends, Crush Management partners Bob McLynn and Jonathan Daniel, who lived and hung out in the neighborhood for years. The rock n' roll atmosphere is reminiscent of some of their favorite haunts that have come and gone, like Alcatraz or the Z Bar. Ex-musicians themselves, they conceived the name as an homage to the NY based bands they each played in - The Electric Angels and The Step Kings. Along with other friends with similar music backgrounds, including Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz, they opened the bar in early 2007. A second location opened in Chicago in June 2008.

ME is stylish, sophisticated and meant to tempt the senses with the best in music, design, and dining options. Having opened in August 2008, Angels & Kings Barcelona exemplifies this as a dynamic union between ME by Melia, Pete Wentz, Crush Management (Fall Out Boy, Panic At the Disco, Gym Class Heroes), Stephen Westman (The Lakeview Broadcasting Company) and Matt Eiles (Empire Liquors).

Its design is contemporary, electrifying and Victorian, with vintage style décor and furniture. Furthermore, crystal candelabra personally selected by Pete Wentz help to create a modern, romantic, and unique atmosphere guaranteed to raise eyebrows and tease your emotions.

Located on the sixth floor of ME Barcelona, Angels & Kings Barcelona has a large terrace with swimming pool, where guests can enjoy cocktails, tapas, beautiful views and a stylish, glamorous open-air atmosphere frequented by a clientele of jetsetters, professionals and Barcelona residents.

The venue has a stage that is the focal point for spontaneous presentations and the legendary Angels & Kings Karaoke battle. In the same line, Angels & Kings Barcelona has a series of images on the wall showing celebrities who have gone to prison, where customers can have photos taken.
