The program, in partnership with Hed Kandi and 4AM DJs, exemplifies ME’s dedication to engaging the traveler’s intellect, emotions, senses, and desires.

ME’s unparalleled music program features tunes and beats mixed by DJs on the forefront of the music scene from UK-based Hed Kandi. Within the hotels’ public and private spaces, guests will enjoy new music within different genres that caters to individual tastes. Featuring open forum sets, a new trend in the music industry, ME spaces transform into avant-garde settings showcasing the newest and latest beats from the best artists around the world.�

The new program also includes a series of events by Hed Kandi at ME Cabo and ME Cancun. The events, which will feature performances by the company’s renowned DJs, kicked off on New Year’s Eve (12/31/10), when ME Cancun celebrated its conversion to an all-inclusive resort, Complete ME, with a massive celebration known as the “Rebirth Party.” Throughout New Year’s weekend, Hed Kandi DJs, including one of their top DJs from the UK, spun on property, showcasing to guests what they bring to the resorts as part of the partnership. Additionally, ME by Melia has released a branded Hed Kandi exclusive CD compilation, containing the music company’s top beats and mixes and prepared solely for the hotels. The CDs can be purchased at all ME locations, which feature Hed Kandi’s iconic artwork on its cover.
